This extremely rare and valuable Porsche 356C Carrera 2 2000 GS Coupe is one of just 6 highly desirable RHD Coupes built. It comes to the market having had only four owners from new and remains complete with a fully rebuilt original matching-numbers, type 587/1 plain bearing 2000cc 4-cam Carrera engine.

Specified new in special order colour 6412 Bali Blue with black leather interior and sunroof, this wonderfully rare RHD example was originally supplied to successful 1960's Ferrari privateer racing driver Chris Kerrison, who also owned at that time the famous Stirling Moss/Graham Hill - ex Le Mans Ferrari 250GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione #2735GT. He campaigned extensively throuought Europe between 1962-1964 and whilst the Porsche was not raced on the track during this time, Kerrison kept the car un-registered in the UK and covered the road miles between European circuits and events.

In 1978 well-known UK Porsche club member John Hearn acquired the car, with 20,000 miles recorded. Hearn also chose to keep the car on foreign plates until finally selling it to a German collector in 1982. The car remained in Germany in the same ownership and in later years was rebuilt and maintained by respected 4-cam Porsche specialist - Knebel. In 2006 the car then passed into its 4th ownership, returning once again to the UK and finally became legally registered here.

In current ownership, #127338 has been regularly maintained by Andy Prill and successfully competed in The 2007 Tour Espana et Portugal, in which it achieved 2nd place overall in regularity.
