Goodwood Revival Meeting - Fordwater Trophy 2nd place
Howard Donald’s 1953 Porsche 356 Pre A Coupe, prepared by us and driven by Chris Harris, leapt ahead of the JD Classics prepared Jaguar XK 120 of John Young at the start of the Fordwater Trophy from the front row of the grid.
The Fordwater Trophy for production sports and GT cars built between 1948 and 1954 is a closely contested race. Soon the power advantage of the Jaguar put it in the lead and pulling out a comfortable gap. Chris however finished in 2nd place overall, 5 seconds ahead of the 3rd place Frazer Nash Mille Miglia of Philip Champion.
