Chassis #9092 was one of the five UK-supplied examples and remained in long-term ownership with Lord Mexborough from 1982 – 2013. Still with only 43,000 miles recorded, the car had stood in storage for prolonged periods of time over the years, having had only minimal use and maintenance carried out; it had been once repainted.  

After sourcing and supplying this car in late 2017, we were commissioned by the buyer to carry out a bare metal restoration of the bodyshell, and a complete overhaul and rebuild of both original engine and gearbox plus all other major suspension and mechanical components.  

A fourteen month project from start to finish, with meticulous attention to detail over a total of 1293 hours.
