This Car:
Delivered new by Porsche Motorsport on March 15th, 2007 to Perspective Automobiles (France). Chassis WP0ZZZ99 Z7S 799917 was driven by Thierry Perrier, Anthony Beltoise, Phillipe Hesnault and Nigel Smith, competing in the 2007 Le Mans Series 1000 Km races at Monza, Valencia, Nürburgring and Interlargos.

M97/80 3.8 litre - Flat six-cylinder boxer engine, delivers 485 hp at 8,400 revs per minute (with 2 x 28.6 mm restrictors) and max torque of 435 Nm at 7,250 rpm. Four-valve cylinder heads, Oil-water heat exchanger, Dry-sump lubrication system with engine mounted dry-sump tank made from carbon fibre, Intake manifold made of carbon fibre with dual air restrictors and single throttle per cylinder. Quick-fill oil system.

The car was fully prepared in 2020 by Crubilé Sport for historic racing in the Peter Auto - Endurance Racing Legends Series and in 2022, sold to the current owner and re-prepared by Equipe Europe for the 2023-2024 season.
The engine was rebuilt by IMSA Performance (Rouen) and remains low hours, currently with just 12hrs 35mins run-time logged and has been a front-running 997 RSR in ERL2 - Class GT2C, winning at Paul Ricard - Dix Mille Tours in 2023.
Arguably the best looking of all the late RSR’s, The 997 is an immensely rewarding car to drive and pure Porsche Motorsport experience. The car is race ready for immediate entry to Endurance Racing Legends and for Le Mans Classic in 2026, where it is sure to continue to be one of the most competitive and highly collectible cars in its class to own and race.
