There are few places in the world quite like Spa-Francorchamps. Set deep within the Ardennes forest, the circuit’s undulating layout and ever-changing weather make it one of the purest and most demanding tests in motorsport. Racing here is always special — a blend of history, drama, and the unmistakable spirit of endurance.

The newly launched Post-Historic GT3 Legends series, introduced by Motor Racing Legends (MRL), marked its inaugural season this year — celebrating the first generation of GT3 cars which were homologated from 2006 to 2013. Despite semi-wet and later fully wet qualifying sessions that made it difficult for drivers to generate tyre temperature and grip, the GT3 night race ran under dry skies, offering those fortunate enough to be on the grid a spectacular taste of what these remarkable cars are all about.

Our Porsche 997 GT3 R Evo delivered a strong and consistent performance, achieving a best lap time of 2:26.8 and breaking into the top ten within a fiercely competitive field. Graham Davidson’s Aston Martin V12 Vantage set the benchmark pace with a best race lap of 2:18.93, underscoring the calibre of both machinery and talent within this exciting new grid.
