Against the golden backdrop of the Provençal hills, Maxted-Page joined the celebrated Peter Auto Dix Mille Tours at Circuit Paul Ricard — a venue long regarded as one of Europe’s most evocative circuits.
Bathed in the distinctive light of southern France and just a few kilometres from the Mediterranean, Paul Ricard provides the perfect stage for historic racing. Its fast, flowing technical layout rewards precision and bravery in equal measure.
The Endurance Racing Legends series, in which we ran our our Porsche 997 GT3 R Evo in the Invitation Class, runs without the chicane on the Mistral Straight, where we recorded a top speed of 178 mph and set a best lap of 2:02.94. These post historic GT1,GT2 and GT3 cars are enjoying popularity now amongst the historic racing fraternity, preparers and racers alike. It is this fusion of technical excellence and Porsche racing heritage that defines the Maxted-Page ethos — and continues to inspire our passion for the sport.
The Ducktail Media Team beautifully captured the atmosphere in cinematic slow motion — the glint of sunlight on bodywork, the rhythm of gear changes, and the unmistakable sense of place that makes Paul Ricard so special. Their film reflects not just a weekend of racing, but the passion, and the enduring allure of historic motorsport within our community.
