Goodwood Revival TT Race

We took back the beautiful Irish Green - AFN supplied ex-Dickie Stoop Porsche 904 to Goodwood fifty four years after finishing in 2nd place in the 1964 Goodwood Tourist Trophy Race – this year the car was driven by none another than Isle of Man TT winner - Stuart Graham.

The ex-Dickie Stoop / 1964 Porsche 904 GTS

On 6 March 1964, Stoop acquired 904-045, the very first example of a 904 GTS to be supplied in the U.K. registered YOU 4. Stoop raced 904-045 at Goodwood to 2nd place in the 1964 Goodwood Tourist Trophy - Grand Touring 2000cc.

Flight Lieutenant James Richard ‘Dickie’ Stoop was a Spitfire pilot during World War II, stationed at RAF Westhampnett, on the Goodwood Estate.
After the war Stoop became a works driver for Fraser Nash (AFN) and competed at Le Mans no fewer than ten times.
